This weekend was such a really good time to catch up on lots of chats and quality time.
For the first time in ages, Hubba and I tried not to pack too many things into our schedule so we could sit and talk for hours.
And catch up we did – I miss these times and I’m so glad we’ve still got them in our lives.
such times are really the best
It’s been very frustrating being so inactive of late – So we took the fixies out for a little spin with Ran & Meow on Saturday before chowing down a whole lotta yummies.
Ahh… These are what great weekends are made of.
A bunch of us volunteered to take some kids to the zoo today to have a bit of fun around the animals.
With 20 kids and 28 adults in tow, it wasn’t easy playing group leader. I must also highlight that my map reading skills are questionable. But nevertheless, my bright yellow top did help in rounding up the troops. Oh! My knackered leggies!
On a totally separate note, I am feeling very relaxed, happy and lovey. It’s been a long time since I’ve been this way and this is very noticeable to Hubba. I’m thankful for the good weekend

Hubba and I have moods tonight.
He says he’s purple. I say I’m navy blue.
He’s between red (aughhh) and blue (boo). I’m between blue (booo) and black (*insert thunder and lightning*).
Ah well, at least purple and navy blue sit on the same side of the colour chart

Perhaps it’s just a reflection of my mood, but I’ve been looking at a lot of black, white and grey items of late.
Received my loot from Loef and I actually can’t wait to use them.
It’s hilarious how I’m starting to get girlier by the day just coz I can get away with dressing like a tomboy all the time at work. No one so much as bats an eyelid if I’m in shorts!
When I was choosing from the outfits, I didn’t actually mean to pick out one that was so well matched.
